Performing new music from his upcoming album, Jamil augments his exquisite group of long-time collaborators with saxophonist Nadim Teimoori. For this new project Jamil has written a collection of music drawing from African and Latin American influences alongside pieces that feel more connected to classical composers such as John Ireland. Expect to be pulled-in by his immersive writing, always creating space and freedom for this group of world-class soloists.

Jazzpac events are run by volunteers who organise live jazz events held at the Bue Room in Lincoln. We have an annual program of around ten gigs a year presenting the best national and, occasionally, international musicians on the jazz scene today. Tickets for our events are available to book in advance although on most occasions will also be available to buy on the door.
