Jazz Steps are pleased to promote these workshops - Just Jamming & Just Jamming Extra. They are an initiative by ArtSpeak in Nottingham.
At the evening Just Jamming sessions,everyone has an opportunity to improvise and perform together. Sessions include improvisation games as well as more traditional playing of jazz standards and blues forms.
Whether you’ve never jammed or are a seasoned musician, there’ll be ample opportunity to get involved and be creative with others!
This session is aimed specifically for older musicians - but all ages are welcome to come along to listen as well as to play.

On the second Tuesday of each month there is a self-organised Just Jamming Extra session - managed by the members themselves. This is an offshoot of the Just Jamming sessions started by ArtSpeak.
