Our popular monthly SingJazz workshops, led by experienced jazz vocalist and educator Yvonne Barrie, are the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in singing jazz to come along and give it a go!
These monthly workshops cover the fundamentals of jazz singing, including appropriate keys, tempos and feel for the material, common jazz styles and structures.
You will learn how to work with a live accompanist, whilst being part of a supportive community for jazz singers to develop their skills, confidence and own style.
Each month there is a different theme and full practice materials will be sent out on booking.
In order to maximise singing time for all involved, the numbers for each session are capped at 10, so secure your place as soon as possible!
These workshops are available to anyone over the age of 16 who has some basic previous singing experience, not specifically jazz!
Cost is £21.68 per session (£16.26 for low or unwaged) including booking fees
