It’s the return of the Pete Donaldson Blues Band, livening up our December nights! Their inspirational sets feature classic numbers such as Route 66, as well as more contemporary blues numbers.
Stalwarts of the Nottingham music scene since the early 1990s, the Pete Donaldson Blues Band takes its inspiration from classic artists such as ‘The Three Kings’ (BB, Albert and Freddie) as well as more contemporary figures such as Jimmie Vaughan, Ronnie Earl and Bruce Katz.

The band started when Pete Donaldson, guitarist with popular local band Working Party, wanted to explore his love of the Blues. Initially working with Working Party colleagues, plus Bob Meyrick (previously with jazzers Spot the Zebra), the band supported Blues legend Jimmy Witherspoon and backed Louisiana Red at gigs in Nottinghamshire.
Tickets £13, open for booking soon from library or online via Eventbrite.
