Whether it’s with his americana inspired jazz band, his duo Binker & Moses, or any other line up, Binker Golding has a reputation of being one of London’s most hard-hitting jazz performers. His albums “Abstractions of reality past and incredible feathers” and “Dream like a Dogwood wild boy” are records that not only showcase great jazz playing, but tell stories too.

He is known for lyrical composing and tough tenor playing, with songs influenced by the traditions of jazz, blues, americana and heartland rock. His third solo album, which features Philip Achille (harmonica), Billy Adamson (guitar), Daniel Casimir (bass), Jamie Murray (drums), Benet McLean (violin), Sarah Tandy (piano) and Artie Zaitz (Hammond organ) is expected to be out in the near future.

Binker was the recipient of the 2020 Jazz FM award for best instrumentalist. He has also won numerous awards with his duo Binker and Moses, with drummer Moses Boyd, including a MOBO award in 2015 for their debut album.
