Steve Waterman Quintet : The Music Of Miles Davis

Steve Waterman (Trumpet/Flugel) / Alan Barnes (Saxophone) / Nick Weldon (Piano) / Steve Watts (Bass) / Felix Weldon (drums)

The concert will be a celebration of the complete career of Miles Davis focusing on his own compositions, with pieces such as Boplicity from the Birth Of The Cool album right through to Tutu, one of the last albums he recorded. Along the way there will be Miles compositions from the 1950s with the classic Kind Of Blue album and the collaboration with Gil Evans, Miles Ahead, as well as pieces from his recorded output during the sixties and seventies.
