With her powerful rhythmic sense, unmistakable tone and strong sense of narrative, Hannah’s music bridges the worlds of modern jazz, soul and folk, blending sophistication with warmth and accessibility. Critics and audiences alike praise her ability to combine groove, space and melody into something deeply personal and irresistibly engaging.
Her upcoming fourth album Stories on the Wind (2026) captures Hannah at her most expressive and imaginative yet. Recorded at Red Kite Studio with producer Martin Levan, the album was born from a week-long creative retreat in the Welsh hills, a space where Hannah and her long-standing quartet explored connection, honesty and freedom through sound. Each track tells its own story, carried on a breeze of baritone depth, tenor lyricism and fearless musical interplay.
Hannah has performed at many of the UK’s most prestigious stages including Ronnie Scott’s, the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall and the 606 Club, often to sold-out audiences. Her 2021 release Inside Out earned a Parliamentary Jazz Award nomination for Best Newcomer and cemented her as a major new voice in British jazz.
As a bandleader, Hannah draws on over fifteen years of collaboration with her dynamic quartet, whose instinctive synergy and improvisational energy define her sound. Their live performances are full of heart, humour and spontaneous connection, a true conversation between friends.
Beyond the stage, Hannah is also a passionate educator and mentor. Through her acclaimed youth ensemble J Steps, she supports young female and non-binary musicians, championing creativity, confidence and equality in jazz.Hannah’s artistry is driven by melody, storytelling and humanity. Her music moves, uplifts and lingers.Stories on the Wind is both a celebration of that journey and an open invitation to listen deeply.
