mjazz Hang: Derby

We’re excited to announce the next mJazz Hang, hosted by Derby Jazz! After the success of our Nottingham event, we’re bringing the community back together to continue the conversation, share ideas, and build meaningful connections across the East Midlands jazz scene.

What to Expect:

• Food and Networking: Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with food provided, offering the perfect chance to meet musicians, promoters, and activists from across the region.
• World Café Discussion: The evening will feature a world café approach to facilitate meaningful conversations. We’ll cover the pressing issues and challenges facing jazz in the region, share news, and have open discussions to spark collaboration.
• Jam Session: To wrap things up, we’ll invite all those interested to join a jam session. Whether you’re an experienced performer or just starting, it’s a great opportunity to improvise, learn, and enjoy music together.
