Chromatic Harmonica player Hermine Deurloo met Gwilym Simcock and Mike Walker at the Ambleside Jazzfestival in 2019 and found an instant musical rapport. Since then they’ve been performing at venues in the Netherlands like the Bimhuis, and venues and festivals in the U.K.

The unusual combination of piano, harmonica and guitar results in a lot of freedom in harmony and performing, while maintaining a very clear melodic story.

These extraordinary improvisational talents explore a rich harmonic world that is highly accessible, emotionally engaging and often jaw dropping. This is a new trio with much to explore.
