Award winning drummer, composer, arranger and band leader, Clark Tracey, brings to Leicester Jazz House a group containing some of the biggest names on the British Jazz scene.

Legendary saxophonist Art Themen, for many years a key member of the famous Stan Tracey Quartet, features alongside supremely talented Simon Allen who played Sax in the final version of Stan's Quartet.

On piano is Dave Newton, voted Best Jazz Pianist 16 times by the UK jazz audience. Andy Clyndert, a major presence on the UK and international jazz scenes for many years is on Bass. A new band with a fresh sound delivered by some of the most experienced musicians on the UK scene. Clark Tracey revisits some of his father's most famous compositions along with some beloved jazz classics. A gig not to be missed!

Leicester Jazz House supports and promotes the principles of ACE and others regarding the importance of equality, diversity and inclusivity. This includes the acknowledgement that there is much more work to be done to make our society and culture free of prejudice and discrimination in the arts. 
 

Leicester Jazz House CIC is a volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation bringing contemporary jazz of the highest quality to Leicestershire audiences through the programme of events mainly at the Musician Venue, Attenborough Arts Centre and Y Theatre; and also promoting jazz in other ways, including through education.
