This superb band recreates the excitement of Lionel Hampton (L), Milt Jackson’s cool (M) and the prowess of Oscar Peterson (O).
Roan plays vibes in his own unique way, as Lionel Hampton did (also playing piano and drums) and expresses the cool vibes sounds of Milt Jackson. Craig Milverton meanwhile is arguably the UK's closest pianist to the quality and style of Oscar Peterson.
If you like vibes and Oscar Peterson, this is for you!

Jazzpac events are run by volunteers who organise live jazz events held at the Bue Room in Lincoln. We have an annual program of around ten gigs a year presenting the best national and, occasionally, international musicians on the jazz scene today. Tickets for our events are available to book in advance although on most occasions will also be available to buy on the door. Whether you're one of our many regulars or it's your first time at one of our jazz nights, you'll always get a warm welcome from our volunteers on the desk and by the staff at The Blue Room. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any more information about our jazz evenings at this charming venue in Lincoln's historic uphill area.
