From the Maceo Parker ‘School of Funk’, Dennis joins an elite lineage of trombone players responsible for changing its perceptions. From the Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai and Courtney Pine to Monty Alexnder and PeeWee Ellis, he has lent his ‘bone skills to many jazz, funk and groove personalities. Jazzpac events are run by volunteers who organise live jazz events held at the Bue Room in Lincoln. We have an annual program of around ten gigs a year presenting the best national and, occasionally, international musicians on the jazz scene today. Tickets for our events are available to book in advance although on most occasions will also be available to buy on the door. Whether you're one of our many regulars or it's your first time at one of our jazz nights, you'll always get a warm welcome from our volunteers on the desk and by the staff at The Blue Room.
