As a finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2020, winner of the Rising Star category in the 2019 British Jazz Awards and nominee in the Parliamentary Jazz Awards 2021 & 2022, Alex is one of the most in-demand and versatile young saxophonists to have emerged on the British jazz scene.  Known for her versatility and open-minded attitude towards jazz, Alex enjoys performing a range of genres from New Orleans to bebop.

Clark Tracey is six times winner of Best Drums in the British Jazz Awards, Clark has over 40 years experience of leading bands and playing with some of the biggest names on both the American and the British jazz scenes

The Quartet also features some of the finest British jazz musicians, namely David Newton, Dave Green. In Summer 2022, they released their latest album 'Only A Year'.

Leicester Jazz House CIC is a volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation bringing contemporary jazz of the highest quality to Leicestershire audiences through the programme of events mainly at the Musician Venue, Attenborough Arts Centre and Y Theatre; and also promoting jazz in other ways, including through education.
