This recording also featured her father, classical guitarist John Williams on two tracks. She has produced several albums with a variety of line ups including a duo with tenor legend the late Bobby Wellins (Smoke & Mirrors), her trio in collaboration with string quartet (Four Plus Three) and two septet recordings (Made Up and Atlas & Vulcana). In May 2026 she released On The Wing Of A Dragonfly featuring her trio.
Kate has worked with a plethora of musicians and bands on the UK scene, including Gareth Lockrane, Julian Siegel, Stan Sulzmann, Art Themen, Chris Biscoe’s Mingus Moves, Pete Hurt Jazz Orchestra, and Nikki Iles (at the 2025 Pizza Express Steinway 2-piano festival).
She is also an experienced jazz educator and is currently a jazz piano professor at the Guildhall School Of Music & Drama.
