Tom Ollendorff guitar Marc Michel drums Conor Chaplin bass

Tom Ollendorff has a distinctive guitar sound, blending virtuosic playing with sophisticated harmonic and melodic ideas. With long-standing trio partners, drummer Marc Michel and bassist Conor Chaplin, they form a “…very classy” (The Guardian) outfit.  Tom’s music elegantly mixes graceful grooving songlike themes, baroque-style etudes and headlong fast-bop swing.

Following on from their critically acclaimed (**4 Stars**) debut album A Song For You, their latest release Passing Ships - out in May - features New York Saxophonist Ben Wendel.

"…Ollendorff presents sophisticated, melodic music of seraphic beauty " -All About Jazz

Don’t miss the Tom Ollendorff Trio at Jazz Steps performing sophisticated melodic tunes taken from both albums.
