The auditorium at Attenborough is prized for its excellent acoustics. It has a maximum capacity of 110 people and is used for the smaller bands booked by Leicester Jazz House. The Centre prides itself on being accessible and inclusive and is one of only two purpose-built spaces in the East Midlands for the promotion of arts and disability.
There is a bar and free parking in the Medical Sciences Building car park next door - you may need to buzz at the barrier to gain entry. It is 10 minutes' walk from Leicester railway station. Buses 47, 47A, 48, 48A and 80/80A (term-time only) all stop on University Road.
There is also a brand new gallery, dedicated to the exhibition of contemporary British and international art.
