NC Jazz is the trading name for Northants Contemporary Jazz Ltd, a charitable organisation that promotes high quality jazz, and contributes to the education and enjoyment of jazz through live gigs, participative programmes and workshops throughout Northamptonshire. It is funded chiefly by the Arts Council England through East Midlands Jazz (EMJAZZ), an ACE National Portfolio Organisation, and development agency for jazz across the East Midlands.
Similarly, EMJAZZ supports Lincolnshire Jazzpac, Leicester Jazz House, Nottingham Jazzhouse and Derby Jazz.
NCJazz is currently presenting live jazz at the Castle Theatre Wellingborough and the Underground at Royal & Derngate Northampton.
