mjazz is taking forward the initiative of one jazz development agency for the Midlands, having instigated ACE funding support in to the West Midlands in recent years, and supported promoters in that area to become more professional in their activities. In doing so, mjazz has identified several promoters which meet its exacting standards, some of whom will join the mjazz stable of core producer partners during 2022/23.
Our governance and good financial practice are proven. We are a voluntary-led organisation, which continues to grow the diversity of its Board. mjazz will have the opportunity to further diversify its operational team. We proactively encourage diversity in both our direct and indirect delivery partnerships, and have had specifically allocated substantial funds to this area of development of regional jazz for the past 5 years.
Our direct and extended partnerships include museums, libraries and Music Education Hubs with whom we work to increase audience and participant access to high-quality jazz experiences. We support activity with a large number of venues, currently expanding from 22 to 30, and set to growsignificantly as an NPO from 2023 as we continue to expand the communities inwhich we deliver.
